The Bring it on January Fab Bag 2017 | Unboxing

Yayy! I got my fab bag for the month of January 2017 today afternoon and I am super excited this time to share the contents with all of you. Usually, I would be browsing impatiently through the Fab bag Instagram page and watch YouTube videos to know that month's contents but this time I received my bag so early that I thought a blog post would be beneficial to the ones who are wondering to order this month's fab bag or not! I received a magenta pink clutch type bag which is simply gorgeous!

Lets dive into the contents.

1. SUGAR Matte as hell crayon lipstick

Like every month we get to decide one makeup product and this time there were options to choose from Sugar crayon lipsticks and Manna Kadar lipsticks. I chose the Holy Golightly shade from SUGAR cosmetics. I love nude lipsticks more than the dark ones so thought this one would be the best choice for me. I already have the poison ivy shade from the same range and I love their creamy matte finish. The one I received is a peachy pink nude shade and it is so comfortable color for everyday use.
The crayon lipstick retails for INR799.

2. O3+ Derma Face Mask

I have been meaning to try this brand for a long time now but just couldn't get hold of any. I am so happy to have received an O3+ professional product in my fab bag and that too a full size ones. This mask claims to brighten and hydrates the skin. It is suitable for all skin types even the sensitive ones as it is formulated and developed by the dermatologists.
I received a full size 50 g product and it retails for INR 425

3. MCaffeine Neem Caffeine face wash.

The face wash is a sea blue liquid with a refreshing fragrance. It is made of neem and aloe vera extracts. It is a cruelty free product and free from  parabens. There are no claims on the product but the fragrance is simply alluring that I want to try this right away.
I received a 50 ml sample and it retails INR 449 for 150 ml.

4. The Nature's Co. Garlic Anti-acne cream

Its another product that I am truly excited about. I do have acne on my cheeks and I have been trying out various remedies to get rid of it. It will be awesome if this cream works for me. This cream claims to be a powerful detoxifier and has anti bacterial and anti fungal properties that will reduce acne drastically.
This small tub of 20 ml sample is made exclusively for fab bag and the full size of 50 ml is prices at INR 895.

5. Wella EIMI Perfect me Lightweight BB lotion

The last product in this month's fab bag is from Wella. Now this fully a mystery product for me as the sachet says its a light weight BB lotion and I was thinking it is some form of BB cream. But as far as I know about this brand they make really good haircare products and I have never heard or saw any of their products related to skin care. So I turn the sachet to see the directions to use, only then I realize this lotion is for the hair. :D It claims to create natural style and smoothness.
I got a 6 ml sachet and it retails for INR 150.

These were the products that I received in this month's bag and I feel it is absolutely worth buying. I am so excited about my nude lipstick and of course the derma face mask from O3+. If you love sugar lipsticks then don't hesitate , go for it!.

Himalaya Herbals Baby Lotion | Review

I recently finished off with my Plum wild cherries and kiwi body lotion and was on look out to try something new. One evening while I was shopping in a local super market, this lotion which is meant for babies caught my attention Reason? The bottle claimed it was free from parabens and mineral oil. This was convincing enough for me to get it. Since it is meant for babies, I hoped it would be safe for my sensitive skin.

Himalaya Baby Lotion

Packaging :

It comes in a white plastic bottle with a green flip open cap. The size comes in different variants - 100 ml, 200 ml and 400 ml.

Ingredients :

My experience :

This is the first time that I am trying a baby product. My skin tends to dry out immediately after bathing, so a body lotion is a must for me. Since this one is meant for babies, as expected it had a mild fragrance and the consistency was quite thin. The application got easier because of the thin consistency. I was able to spread the lotion comfortably and gets easily absorbed.

This lotion moisturizes really well that you can actually notice your skin shining, I am not exaggerating but it indeed leaves a glow to the skin. The best part of this lotion for me is that it is non greasy. I hate it when lotions and creams give that sticky greasy feel but this one was just opposite.I have been using this lotion twice everyday and I am so glad that it works like a charm for me.

Price :
INR 132 for 200 mL

Pros :

  • Free from parabens, mineral oil and synthetic colors
  • Suitable for sensitive skin
  • Inexpensive
  • Non-greasy
  • Light on the skin
  • Mild fragrance
  • Thin consistency
  • Leaves a hint of glow on the skin

Cons :

None at all!

Verdict :

While I am typing this, I have already ordered my 3rd bottle because I love this one that much. I would highly recommend this one for everyone of you, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
Note: In case you are dealing with excessive dryness , this lotion may not be enough for you to combat the dryness.
